Jenny Larson
Jenny Larson has 11 years of professional experience in collegiate recreation at three different institutions. She is currently the director of health, recreation and wellness at Auburn University, where she leads an integrated approach to wellness and recreation programs. Alongside her work on a college campus, Jenny is a trained executive coach from the Co-Active Institute and is currently working toward her certification. With over a decade of involvement with NIRSA: Leaders in Collegiate Recreation Jenny has served in leadership roles in the planning of regional conferences, student development and training, and the development of professional staff. She is a Horace Moody Award winner, three-time NIRSA Service Award winner and a co-author of the NIRSA Essentials: Student Development and Training book. She currently serves NIRSA as a faculty chair for the NIRSA School for early career professionals and has co-chaired the development of a mid-level professional institute at a university level at Elon University. Jenny enjoys learning and teaching and has presented at several state, regional, and national conferences on a variety of topics.
